    toshiba e studio 230 printing problem

    i have 2hd hand studio 230.
    after driver installed on computer the printer go very well, but after 2 hrs the printer appears offline on computer icon and if u disconect the printer (toshiba 230) from usb a msg come (usb donot recognize)
    do i have problem with the printer enable stick?
    pls thks in advance

    I think you have problems with computer.
    Install it over network and see what happens.

      nothing wrong with the printer enable stick, but just curious, why not use Network Printing?

        On most toshiba equipment, the drivers and firmware are "somewhat" matched..for instance, if your MFP is at version 100 and you downloaded the most recent drivers you might have an issue. My advice...get a toshiba tech out to bring your MFP to latest and greatest firmware and drivers to match. I've never seen a ebridge that was hooked up for USB printing, so I can offer no trouble shooting advice, making it a network printer/scanner opens up the full range of options and I'm not sure what is lost connecting this way.           What version of windows are you using? There is no official driver for Windows 7 64bit just FYI so if that is what you are using you might try the Universal B&W64bit driver from copiers.toshiba.com
          I will not give you service manuals or firmware.
