[Jamming] e-studio 450 hang up when paper jamming

hi, every body,wishing you kindly reply about this case.
after removing the misfeed paper,then closing the right doors,no jamming release happens,all hangs up,i can not even shut down the
machine,i have to close from power switch that should hurt the hard disk is n't it? what is the reason please?m/c is e-studio 450

sounds like you have a dodgy sensor my friend
trans ,reg or check sensor in by pass unit that can cause some weird ones

Hanging leads me to idea of re-flashing firmware.
