    e-Studio 2330c Workload?

    Hello everybody,
Pls I need advice on estudio 2330c. We have a lease for this copier. My fear is can it handle 10k monthly colour prints/copies without breaking down often? Already the customer is not too happy with Toshiba beacause the previous dealers in the account did a bad job. I don't mind giving them 2820c at our expense if that will be more reliable just to redeem Toshiba's image.
    Thanks.

It'll handle it unless it's a dud. We have one that has done over half a million in a year and it's one of the ones we have had the fewest calls on. Look up the codes to make the waste toner augers/agitator rotate more often (max them out.) There are two codes with two sub codes each one you set one to 6 one to 5, I don't have a manual in front of me to look them up right now. These things tend to pile up like a mountain in the bottle and code out because of motor lock up instead of warning the user it is full. They run clean, keep them PM'd and they are awesome.

I should note we mostly put out 2830c machines but they are all the same except for the speed at which paper is fed into the engine.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Service codes to increase the auger speed, that would be nice. Here in Canada we get an updated gear and a coupler that increase the speed.

        Hi all,
I have just finished installing the e-Studio 2330c. I need the exact service codes to increase the auger speed. I have found 4551, 4554, 4561, 6209. Don't know which.
Any other suggestions to keep the machine run efficiently and profitably will be appreciated. Thanks

-To make the WT mixer turn more and help prevent mounding up in the bottle and auger lock codes...
4551 sub 0, 1 set both to max
4554 sub 0, 1 set both to max
-If you have a mixer that keeps falsley "locking" and causing a code you can disable lock detection with 4561 we have had to do this a few times with no ill effects.
-6209 sub 0..2 just views the counts.
-The metal plate which the WT door magnetically latches to can become bent inward against the gearing causing noise, drag on the mechanism for the WT transport.

          others i like...

-1504 makes pixel counter button display in the counter screen so you can keep an eye on how much % of each color the customer is using.
-If the customer is not running a large percentage of color copies (5% of total or less) make sure you enable 08-2692, and set 2693 to a low number. This will prevent toner density from falling too low due to running IQC and not adding toner over a large period of time. Believe it or not it happens and will save service calls.

As far as profit it is my experience that all the components in these will run way past their PM cycle with continued high quality output and little or no toner dusting (feed tires are close to actual.) You can set 9891 to a 0 which will disable some of the PM messages for each component from popping up. You can set 251 to a higher number for actual PM cycle popup. Don't disable 808 (slit/charge cleaning popup) as it is important to help prevent banding of toner on the drums IMO.

User Functions > Admin > 123456 > General > PopUps ... disable popup for drawer set otherwise idiot customers will be changing the size of the paper causing jams.
08-449 Can disable paper size jam detection. (available code on this model I THINK.)
Also in Admin > Service you can set the machine up to email meters in and hard failure service calls including a error history report. Handy I think.

          HTH!
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Thanks Toshibatec, God bless you real good. I will surely implement all your suggestions and will keep you posted. However I noticed that colour blue is light in printing and copying
