    Toshiba e-Studio 352 Firmware

    Hello everyone:
    I need to upgrade a firmware for an e-studio 352 from v.031 to v.352.
I have the latest ver.352 firmware but I do not have firmwares in the 100s or 200 range.
Can I take that hard drive, plug it into a PC and format it, then place it back into the copier and upload OS and version 352?
Would this be a way to bypass the firmware increments needed?
The reason I ask is when a new hard drive is installed onto a machine, you go straight to uploading the OS and latest firmware.
    Thanks for you advice.
Have a good weekend to all.

Pulling the drive and formatting will not eliminate the need to flash in increments. The safest ways are either to do the increments or to use the recovery jigs and then flash to the latest. I have heard that the newest version of firmware (with the mentusb0 file) does not need to do the increments but I have not tried this to verify.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Thanks Mr. Spock. I will read the instruction regarding the mentusb0 file to see about using it. If it works I will let you know.
