Toshiba e250 "Memory Full"

Hello :
I am working on a Toshiba e-250 that when placing the originals on the ADF, it 1st scans the entire stack into memory so it takes longer to make the prints. Also now randomly showing "Memory Full". According to customer, it randomly happens after maybe 30 originals and messes up their copying sequence.
Is there a way to shut off the scan into memory 1st so that it starts making copies right away?
Also, any additional input regarding the "Memory Full" is also appreciated.

Toshiba E250 Memory Full

Try changing from text/photo mode (default) to just text mode . This has helped a number of our clients , however some required the memory expansion kit that was an option. i dont think there is a way of preventing the job going into memory

i agree with micko.. "text" mode uses the least amount of memory while "photo" mode uses the most..also take into consideration the type of originals being scanned..( if dark images or colored paper are being used, the copier may be picking up some background of paper and interpreting it as data..) if this is the case, ya may be able to adjust the density settings..(lighter= less memory required to store document for processing) hope this helps..good luck

for memory clearing try following :

• *+1+3 power on til "please waite" is appear then off.

regarding the first-in first-print i am not sure about it.

I changed the setting to Text, machine only has 32MB and am looking to see about upgrading the memory.
