    Toshiba E Studio 5500C

    Good Morning Everybody....
I have a Toshiba E Studio 5500C, with error code SC672. I have the service manual but haven't found the part where it explains how to enter on Service Mode... we are more familiar with 3511 and this model is closer to the Ricoh equipments.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
    Thanks in advance,

This is a rebadged ricoh unit. The procedure is on 5-2 of the service manual.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

thanks for your help, now, we followed the procedure listed in the manual to enter svc mode but the machine is not allowing anything, it stays on the same error sc672.... Any step that we are missing and is not described in the manual? It won't let us do anything... Thanks in advance for any help.

          Thanks in advance,
Some codes are almost universal in a brand.
I think you have problems with firmware.

This code is a Com error between the GW board and the Control panel. Check the connections. Worst case is you'll have to reloade Frimware.
