    Toshiba e studio 120 problems

    Hello ,

I have a toshiba e studio 120 and came today in my service and has a problem that i have never seen before.
When you switch on the copier only the scanner is light and remains still lighted no display is switched and does not make the strat up procedure.

I have opened it if there was any current problems but the supply unit was alright.

Please advise what to do!!! Help needed.

Do the buttons work? Have you checked any connectors? The scanner lamps on this model remain lit at all times even while in "sleep" mode.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

no display is switched on and the lamp remains all time lighted and do not move.

This is a sharp rebadge. I have seen this twice. Once was the power supply even though it checked out good. The second was the main pwb had gone bad.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Like mr spock said, its a badged sharp 122 i think. The problem I had was the power supply to. I maybe would post it in the sharp section if you have no joy fixing it.

'You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Mr Spock again'. I tried but failed to give you ome rep.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.
