I wanna make this because the people i have rented this machine does not call me and the machine goes in error code !!! I have 25 toshiba 3511 for rent.

PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP !!!

        NO.
I've seen lot of technician looking for a solution to block copier after desired number of copies, but no one has succeeded. If there is a hidden location in memory no one has found it.

So i believe that there is no such an option.

I have seen to be done in Toshiba 3511 for sure, some technician of Toshiba in my country does this kind but how i don't know.

Because in Konica minolta it can be done and i think there is a way also in this Toshiba model!!

The only way I would even try was to turn on the department codes and set a limit of 10,000 and then it will give an error that they are over limit and to contact the admin.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Its not a big deal to find out how to reset department codes.
Just go to copytechnet and ask

i dont want to reset department code, i want to block the copier after a specific number of copies in order for me to make a cleaning of the copier because as i told i have rented them and it is better to make cleaning after a specified number of copies because in this way you keep the copier in good shape.

department management, that is activation of department codes and setting the copy and print limit is the only way the copier will stop at the specific no of copies. when it reaches the set value, say 10, 000 it cannot print and copy anymore. that's the time you perform your cleaning. then you reset the department limits again and set the limits.

As sneeky suggested, create and enable department codes in TopAcess and set a copy limit of 10,000

You can set 08-251 to 10000 and a message "Time for Periodic Maintainence" will show up every 10K. Reset by setting 08-252 to 0. This doesn't shut the copier down but you could instruct the customer to call when they see that message. I hope you don't have a lot of these out or this is all you are going to be doing!
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Not that I am aware of, unless you use department codes as described previously. I don't know how you bill over there but over here it all boils down to cost-per-copy; it would be counter intuitive to shut the copier down (at least from a profit standpoint) when the customer has copies to make.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

You are right ToshibaTech that the machine will not be shut down but in my case there are about 70 users per machine and they use the machine in a very bad way and ii i shut down they will call me to make a cleaning and to add more copies.
The copiers i have rented are the only ones they have and use as a copier and as a printer and they will come me no doubt if the copier is blocked.

IT MUST BE A WAY TO BLOCK IT.

Ok, there is no way you can do it unless you take on board what others have said.

-Department codes with colour and b/w limits.
-08-252 and set a PM value for 'Time for periodical maintenance' to pop up

But there isnt a way for the copier to go into 'lockdown' after X amount of copies/prints.

Personally a simple universal department code that everyone can use that set to say e.g: 20,000 copies then locks out that department code.
