    Toshiba e-studio 163

I have a estudio 163 that is ghosting. Coming from the developer unit. Put in another machine and does same thing. Replaced mag roll same thing. Make multi copies and first page ghosting eventually goes away. Repeat multi and same problem. Any other ideas?

Your response to every fricken question is to order a manual is getting old and annoying. Also your avatar is a little creepy for my taste. Sometimes the answer is not always in the manual. Thank you

I would order a new dev unit and see if it fixes the issue. I have had one on the 230 series that had some issue and replacement was the only solution.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Whole process unit problem or only developer unit problem?

Normally ghosting is due to drum side & main charger problem....

You can try to change the bearing on the mag. roller.
Sometimes it gives to much resistance to create good bias.
And check the contact-springs in the side-cover for the transferunit.

              Good luck.
ps. I also get very tired of mr. Manual
