cleaning blade clutch engaging on an E studio 4511

I just in stalled a transfer belt on the copier and the black copiers are fine but the color copiers look like a rainbow. this is due to the transfer cleaning blade pulsating. SKMBT_C45011022307150.jpgThanks in advanced

Replace the clutch for the cleaning blade. then throw this in a dumpster and get a better machine....
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

I agree with you but the customer for some dumb reason wants it fixed. Does the clutch work different when doing color rather than black? The black print and copy is perfect.

If the clutch fails, you will get yellow only (as everything else is wiped from the transfer belt) and black will look good as the image is transfered to the paper before the cleaning step. So my assumption is you have somthing else going on here. Was quality like this before you replaced the belt? Original CQ issue? Emujo

You can take the catch tray off and watch the transfer belt and cleaning station in action on the machine. Might give you a better idea if what is happening. Other than that Mr Spock's advice is pretty sound.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.
