the machine was fine cleaned the outer covers and now say to close front cover. cannot find any thing wrong please help.

Check the front cover and see if any of the protrusion (actuators) is broken. Check the sensors also. -
Ok. First, this model has a front door switch that is shared with the left door, and has been a "pain in the neck", because it breaks a lot. What happens is the front door has an actuator, and the left door also, as well. When they both are closed, they pressure a "V" shape plastic on both sides and it will close the switch. It could also the actuator on the front door be broken or bent, or even unscrewed loosen. Is somebody looking for a job as a technician, please hit me @ robycopy@hotmail.comComment

Failing all that, check the t fuses and the fuser lamp(s).Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder.
They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.Comment
