    Toshiba 2860

    HI,
Anyone have experience on older toshibas who may have suggestions on how to hold these cassettes in tact so that tray hits right paper size detect switches and is detected in machine properly?
    Thanks Andy

Is the part that holds the little plastic size marker broke. I think I'm remembering right and the size was detected by rotating the visible size marker on the front right of the tray right? If it is broke and won't hold the plastic indicator piece I'd probably just super glue the micro-switches down on a machine this old or hard wire the correct micro-switches.
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.
