Is 'track the image' what I would call 'offsetting' or 'image repeat'?? Maybe the drum blade? Could the fuser roller be stuffed? From what I remember 1370's were OK little machines (its been a while!). Maybe the drum is worn out and oversensitive?
If you are hitting your head up against a wall it always feels better when you stop.

      Don't forget

Also don't forget to clean and isolate the separator corona blocks+change wires, it's very common at this point of its life for this part to leak HV and cause lotta trouble, (faint image, repeated image, blank copies, intermitent jams...etc).

Check your drum blade to see if it is flipped. Those little things were notorious for flipping the drum blade if you didn't use enough patting powder.
sigpic No! we never do that with the copier.
