We got a low volume machine in for refurb (50k) and it came with this code...we have swapped out the laser assy ,logic board power supply and the harness that goes from C343 on the logic board to the laser unit and did the firmware ....still got the code just wondering if anyone has had this code and it wasnt caused by the usual suspects?

Either both lasers have the same issue, the laser is not the correct one (I think the 3510c has a different laser) or there is a short somewhere.And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!Comment

Used machines can be a pain sometimes lol ! The error code got solved a few days ago, after I put the original laser in another machine to test it (it was fine) the only thing that hadnt been changed was the bulkhead connector J506 I think it was , the one on the left side of the machine that goes through the back frame. When I looked really close with a flashlight the pin closest to the out side was bent enough that it didnt make contact. Of coarse when I fixed that the error code disappeared but the copies were completely black and the prints were blank ...we found 2 of the RAM cards were missing as well! This machine came from a Toshiba Direct service dept ....I would assume it got pulled because of the code and they couldnt fix it??Comment
