    e-studio 451c impresions

    Hello,
I only work on Toshiba devices only occasionally in most of the time working on the Sharp.
I have a client who wants a cheap A3 color printer.
Importer wich im working has nothing from Sharp color in stock. But it has this machine with 200k total count. Next week I go to see the machine but until then I want to know the opinion of those who work with them. What problems and if he has got to start with this device or to send the client elsewhere?

If you are going to put a contract on it I would look somewhere else..I'm sure most Toshiba techs would agree this is a better MFP then it's 4511 predecessor, it still is a major maintenance nightmare with dusting problems and low consumable yields (color developer will set you back $600 for the PM kit. Also it is around 8-9 years old and will be "obsolete" soon. My advice would be to run away, service contract or not. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

agreed, the whole es451c series is high maintenance, low quality and pretty hard to work on. go for a es2500c or newer
