    Fax Forwarding setup on 2500c

Hi all I have found where you can fax forward with this machine. It looks like I need to setup a mailbox or something for it which I have but its not forwarding. Its like Somthing is not turned on to forward. If you have any documentation to setting this up that would be awesome thanks

In Top Access, go to Administration/Regisration/Fax Received Forward.

Select Forward and then select Email or Save as file, click Select Agent and fill out the areas you need.

Are you using Inbound FAX Routing or Fax Received Forward?

1st , elimnate a scanning issue, can you scan to the destination you are trying to forward to? If you can't email or scan to folder, the MFP will not be able to forward the received fax. 2nd if you are able to scan, then check the error log history. Should be some error code that will give a reason for te failure. Post your findings. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Ensure you are choosing the public template page (not InternetFax forward), select Fax/InternetFAX and save to file as the agent. Under "save as file" settings, choose the destination as the HDD shared folder just as a test. If the fax routes to here, then you can suspect a remote 1 or 2 settings issue. If remote 1 and or 2 are working normally then you should oit have to input the path, as the selections should already be input. emujo
