Hello, I am having a problem with a 2500c I am working on. Sometimes when making copies or when printing the copy will shift down the middle from lead to trail edge where one half is normal and the other half could be shifted three inches higher. Sometimes blocks of copy, print will be missing. Sorry, where I am at I cannot include samples to show. I have so far tried reseating board connections ect. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks

Toshiba would tell you to replace page memory ram on sys board and that may help, but the only time I've experienced this, it went away after IMG board replacement.Comment

Re: Tosh 2500c broken copy
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I would have got back sooner but for some reason I have not been able to log on here. Different tech went on this call originaly and when I went there I could not duplicate problem. I did see sample copysthough. I reseated connections on boards and such and when I called her yesturday she said it had not happened yet. She is going to be running a big job today so I will see what happens.Comment

X-fer unit may be the culprit..remove belt and scotchbright facing rollers, ensure TBU mod kit (helps with belt tracking and proper grounding) has been installed. EmujoIf you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.Comment

Had very similar problems early on with this model, also colours missing. Step one make sure the cable through the frame at the bottom of the system board is plugged in firmly. There are two there that are unplugged when the board is swung out. The big plug being a little crooked has a range of faults associated with it.Comment
