    es28 Total Counter

    Hello all,
I have es45 in a copy shop. The machine counts paper jams in the total counter. But the customer want the copier to count only delivered copies in the total counter. This is what most copiers I've worked on does; they don't include jamms in the total counter.
Pls how do I make the copier ignore the jams and count only finished copies in the total counter.
    Thanks

    1. Anything that makes it past the fuser will increment the meter.
    2. The proper resolution would be to eliminate the jams.
    3. Post the trouble you are having and maybe we can help. Emujo

PS I am not to sure about your statement "most MFPs dont count jams in the total meter", I'm sure that most digital MFPs can track where the job jammed and what has to be re-printed to finish the job, but a piece of paper that passes through is gonna increment something, even if it's just a developer drive or drum rotation count. I'll look at the next KM I visit and see if it the total meter clicks for a jam in the finisher. Emujo
