Scan to email - restrict destination

Hi,

I have a Toshiba eStudio 850.

I have configured scan to email, which is working fine.

Our security team have a concern that people could send anonymous emails to anyone from this device.

We only have the need to send scanned images to 1 email address to support a business process.

Does anyone know if there a way to lock down the device so it can only send to 1 email address?

As per the service handbook:

08 - 1477 Restriction on "To" ("cc") address - 0: No restriction 1: Can be set from both of the address book and LDAP server 2: Can be set only from the address book 3: Can be set only from the LDAP server

you could dump the email, and set up scan to file. Users would be retrieving the files and using their own email to send. There might be a code to restrict modifying the TO address (in addition to "The Owls" post) but don't have time to search today. If I find anything I'll post for you at a later date. Emujo
