[Misc] Toshiba EStudio 282 "Close Front Door"

Toshiba Estudio 282 machine keeps saying "close front door" however all doors are closed. I've checked already the front door switch and it seems working properly. Any other reasons for this indication in the display? tnx, eric

Look for a hole in the front when the doors open where a microswitch should be right under a label that has the S/N and model. Usually gets pushed in.

You will need the little micro switch also activates or you wont get your 5v like gregg said.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

Also check the fuses on the power supply. If one of these is blown that is the message.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
