[Error Code] C580

Hello I'm troubleshooting an e-studio 351c getting a C580 error code. I have the MJ1024 finisher attached. The display screen shows that the finisher is recogized. Does anyone have any suggestions to look at besides what the service handbook recommends. Maybe a service mode setting? I have reseated all connections on the finisher controller board.

Have you checked code 08 - 1912 is set correctly (0 for the MJ1023/24).

Thankyou for responding Michealc, yes I checked 1912 and it is set to 1 for the large finisher. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

It should be set to 0 with that type of finisher.

Problem resolved. Thanks again Micheal, I did try setting the finisher to a 0 and a 1, it still errored out with the C580 code on both settings. I proceeded to reseat connections on the LPG board and swapped out the sorter board on the LPG as well. No luck, I also swapped out the finisher controller board and with no luck, I decided to either try another LPG board but then I thought to try that problem sorter on another 351c machine we had in the building. Well, it worked just fine. Looks like I have a bad LPG board on the original 351. I thankyou for your quick responses and good suggestions.
