Depending on the issue you are faced with, you may not have to format it at all. What makes think the HDD needs reformatting?I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. ~Thomas Edison -

Basically the customer installed a hard drive it needs setup and formating I just wanna know if I can do it from the machine or is there third party software I need to use to setup the hardriveComment

You need to partition the HDD and install factory firmware.Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?Comment

arnh79 and jonezy have gave you the info you need, I just am wondering why and how the customer changed the hard drive.It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.Comment
