auto toner error

hi all, came across an ES 453 that something like 500,000 or better showing for a dev count. so changed it and did 05-200 and everything went well. couple hours later they called with an install new toner cartridge message. went over there and dev unit was over toned. figured an auto toner sensor issue or something , but did same thing with another dev unit. when trying 05-200 this time, the voltage percentage shot up to 510% and never moved and then it just came up saying error.as far as i can tell , the dev plug and harness looks ok and dev bias ground seems ok. also process unit seems ok. any ideas that might cause it? thanks

Should usuall be around the 250 mark. Have you tried setting it in 201 mode instead. You can set the value in there you self. Just a silly question, did you use Toshiba dev and not a third party dev? Also is the toner also Toshoba toner.
