Just wondering how many of you have been offered the firmware for a small fee and would rather not pay for it? I don't personally care to pay someone a few bucks, it's not like other firmwares where you can download them from the manufactures site.....

Firmware is available to authorized dealers. I don't see why so many people get so sensitive about having to pay or why so many people feel entitled to receive it for free. We don't get it for free from Toshiba, there is a cost associated with being a dealer. If you want the firmware, then become an authorized dealer, otherwise don't complain if there is a fee required for getting it. And don't join this site just to bum for free stuff- especially when the requests are all too often phrased as a demand and not a polite request.

That's my 2 cents...
