Adding Fax to a 281c

I have a customer with a 281c and they want to add fax. I have a 451c in the shop w/fax......can I take it off the 451 and add to the 281, if so, what do I need to take off?

Take off the back cover, the fax is in the top left corner with a ribbon cable going to the system board, thats what you need to remove.

initialize fax after installing or you may see tx/rx problems. Emujo

Is that done like the old estudio 35.......was it *1 while powering up, then 100?
