Toshiba E-Studio laser codes

Does anyone have information on a bulletin from Toshiba dealing with laser fault codes on older Toshiba E-Studio machines? someone told me about an added ground in the laser harness but after looking at it i'm not sure where.

This was on Toshiba's site for the eStudio28/35/45 also look at the attached file that talks about the permanent fix.

CA1 AND CA2 ERROR CODES
If the machine is getting these error codes, make sure the system is at version 11 firmware or later. Then monitor the performance of the copier with 08 code 479 set to 1. This code relaxes the critera used to declare a CA1 error. If the problem continues to occur, you might need to replace the laser.
