    TOSHIBA E STUDIO 3100C with Built-In Fiery system print Controller X3E+

    Glad to be a member in this community.
    We been using in the office a TOSHIBA e studio 3100c with built in FIERY X3E+ print controller. Copier is working fine but the printer. I think i have a corrupted Fiery system software, by the i got a new HDD now.
    Anyone can help me or has a system recovery disk. PM me for the link of download site or where can i buy the recovery software cd as well as the procedure how install it.
    Thanks and im hoping to get a response anytime soon.

      This MFP is too old for "Firmware" updates like the ebridge series..you need to order the EEPROMS 1 by 1 and with a service jig, copy the info onto the board you are updating...bad news..EEPROMS are no longer available as parts...this means you have to download the files and use an EERPOM burner to get what you need. The only other way to update this MFP is using an old Toshiba program called FSMS. More bad news..runs on Win2k and needs serial port. None of have this old crap lying around anymore so when it happens to a customer it means time for an upgrade. The Fiery updates are still available but are huge ISO image downloads. If you want a copy of this I can probably get it to you. Since you have at least offered to pay for the help(saw the other post in a different thread) you get a couple of bonus points from me.           Ammending my previous post...Fiery (1121) software reload requires Win98/ME with parallel port. I can still get the files and instructions, but the reload is not anything like newer Fierys (install CD). Emujo

              Thank you for the reply emujo. yes thats the 1 i need the fiery software. running it on win98 is not gonna be a problem for us. im not knowlegeable about the new fiery install anyway. check your PM

              with regards of EEPROM burning or reprogramming. We have a way to that here in my work. I just want to know where to download the file or updates and where can i order the service jig. (Just to let you know we are on the business of repairing POS machines, that is why we have the resources of erasing and burning an EEPROM and if you or someone needs help on this kind of machine, i'll be glad to help)
