    original counter

I have a toshiba estudio 242 at a customer site. The customer wanted to know where the originals counter was. On other models such as kyocera, ricoh etc. The counter for the originals is right on the lcd panel. For this model i cannot see it. Tried hitting the copy button after it finishes scanning the originals and nothing. Looked in settings where there is a menu customize, nothing for originals counter. Does anyone out there know where the originals counter is? The customer is really hung up on this. Any help is appreciated.

    Re: original counter

Not sure about the "242" , but on ebridge 1-3, Touch "user functions" look for print counter tab and it should display prints/copies etc... Toshiba also display the total counter when jammed, or in an error status. Emujo

Did you trie to print out the function list in user section ?
I thought there was a counter and a scan total on it.

      Good luck.

Press the User Function hard key. The meter read will be displayed in the top right corner of the LCD.

User functions-total counter- scan counter. This will list all scanned documents. This is for E-bridge 1 thru 3 models. Not sure what a 242 is.

Checked and i get the total counter which is ok. The customer needs to know how many originals per job. The other units displays how originals were scanned per job. This unit only displays how many copies i choose. It does not show after all the originals are scanned how many they were on the screen, may it be 2 or 4 or 6 originals. Looked everywhere and cannot find it or cannot find a mode which will display this on the screen.

E242 series is known as eBridge Lite. Lite does not have all of the features of the next model up.

You can probably print a report that details each scan job and number of pages scanned.
