    ES555 front cover open

As the title shows, on a E-Studio 555 I am getting a message saying the front cover is open, but I have checked the front cover switch and it is working fine. I have tried to hit the switches by hand with no changes, and when I check voltage 2 wires are about 125v and send the voltage to the second wires when both switches are pressed. the second pair of wires gives me about 2.5v on one wire, and on one switch (i think the one with black and white wires) the opposite wire gives me 14.5v. when the switches are pressed, the other switch goes from like .3v to 2.5v and the 14.5v changes to 2.5v. I'm not sure if that is normal, because I haven't had any luck finding the harness and board in the manuals on Toshiba FYI.

The question I have is what should I replace next, because I wanted to replace the board and I cannot find the board in the parts manual. In the service handbook I see a board labeled as switching regulator, but I do need some help on what to replace.

What I have done other than check voltage and whether the switches are open when pressed is taking my 1 new door switch and replacing it with each switch (without mixing the switches) with no changes. I am ordering another door switch, but I do need some help finding that switch regulator board.

Front cover open is generally a loss of the 24v rail. This can be due to thermostat in fuser blown. Check at power supply for 24 and 5v rails.
I have had a couple of faulty 555 power supplies as well, good luck. A
