    Estudio 162 with network expansion - how to setup on network?

    My usual tricks with pwr + 05 or 08 don't work, reset button on network expansion kit doesn't work.
    HOw do you enter the machine via ip address?

    Gosh, it's been years since I installed one of those. Toshiba codes won't work, it's a SHARP in disguise. Check the Sharp forums.

      To reset the Network Expansion Kit,(which will factory default to DHCP), hold down the Status button on the Network Kit while Powering Up. Hold it down until it beeps.

      To check the IP address hold down the Status button on the Network Exp Kit for at least 2 or 3 seconds . A Printer Settings List will Print.

      The CD's that come with the machine will auto find and configure the copier.

        Of course I tried your options, as stated above. It doesn't do a thing. There is no beeps when I held the status button while @ pwr up.
        And neither did attempt to print settings.
        No cds.... ;(
        Ended up using usb connection, it's fine for now, but they want it networked, not sharing usb on network.
