    per the handbook --

[CE2] Image quality sensor abnormal (no pattern level abnormal)
    1. Check that the transfer belt unit is fully raised.
    2. Check that the transfer/transport unit is securely inserted.
    3. Check for any abnormal stain, large flaw or break on the transfer belt surface.
    4. Check that the drum and transfer belt are operating. If abnormal, correct any mechanical
    problem

hope this helps.. let me know and i'll try to dig deeper..

sounds like one of your developers maybe depleted, causing poor patches on the belt.
I would check the devs, if they are all ok, the next thing i'd check is the transfer rollers inside the transfer belt unit ( put conductive grease on the end of the roller where the charging takes place. )
Also make sure all your charger units are located correctly ( the lip that holds the chargers secure gets broken off, allowing the charger to drift out slightly )

don't forget to clean the IQC sensor & Colour Reg. Sensors, then in 05 mode run IQC ( 878 for old parts, 879 if you have fitted new parts )
        & Colour Reg. 05 mode code 407.

          CE2 error gone

Okay got it! Would this also cause poor image quality? Now there is little to no image. Just outlines of image.

you have a clear outline, but inside the outline's blank?
if you run a gamma setup, 05 mode ... press 4 then press printer/network, place the chart that comes out on to the glass ( the 2 black blocks facing the original scale at the left ) , type in 643 & press the green start button ( still in 05 mode )
See if that makes the copy come back, if it doesn't you have a problem with your devs by the look of it. If the problem goes after running gamma, then the chances are that your IMG board is stuffed. i had that board play up on a 210c, it gave solid outlines & nothing inside them, when you did a gamma it corrected it's self, then it would go again, ended up going several times a day ( customer had to start doing the gamma themselves )
