We have a Kyoshiba 650c that is throwing a C4B1 error. This occured after a PM was performed and initially said "Set Fuser". The manual states that a C4B1 is "Fuser unit voltage judgment abnormality" which is not enough information to help. At boot up the welcome screen appears and shortly after the error occurs. Has anyone ever seen this problem and be able to shed light where only darkness seems to be? The Kyocera hotline was not able to help us at all and frustration is mounting, any insight is greatly appreciated. If this is helpful, the fuser was completely PM'd along with the drive system. Firmware is up to date and current.

This is the troubleshooting tips page that Toshiba gives us to isolate if a board, connector or sub-assembly is causing the error.Attached Files -

Re: Toshiba 6520c (Kyoshiba 650c) C4B1 Error
There are several fuser codes that are caused by a gear wearing in the fuser drive gear box which has been modified the worn gear causes the satalite roller to hesitate and give error a new style gear box is not exspensive and worth fitting anyway
youre error seems to be more likely to be one of the the thermopiles within the fuser assy it has either been damaged or is out of position change both
these are very good machinesComment
