Toshiba 4511 USB Scan win 7

I've got a friend that has a Estudio 4511 USB at his house he can print to it but I was unable to get Win 7 to discover it as a scanner. Any ideas

Not 100% sure of this..but I believe the MFP only supports scaning via TCP/IP (Email/SMB)..It does support TWAIN scanning, and that may be the only way it would work with USB..Your going to have to find the TWAIN installer(might be on the disks that came with MFP) and then pull scan using word, or acrobat. It would be pretty easy to run a ethernet cable from the MFP to a router and then back to the PC. This would give you the network connectivity you need to use the MFP to it's fullest. Scanning doesn't get much simpler on the Toshibas, you can easily access the HDD and retrieve your scans from there (firmware update would be required with Win7. Emujo
