Toshiba E-studio 233 Fax RX problem

Can anyone tell me if the Toshiba E-studio 233 is suppose to be able to receive faxes if the machine is powered off? If so, what do
I need to check or set in order for it to do so. I've already gone into 08 mode 206 and set it to 20, but not sure if there are other settings
that also need to be set.

Also how do you get it to send faxes to a specific destination folder which has been setup on the network. It always says destination is 00 when
I observe a fax coming in. I have a destination setup for fax and a email address in location 01, so how do I direct it to that location?

If the machine is powered off, then you can't receive faxes. If the machine is in Energy Saver mode, then you can still receive fax and print jobs.

To send faxes to a network folder, you will need to enable Fax Recieved Forward:

    1. Admin
    2. Registration (Not the grey tab, but registration with the blue background)
    3. Inbound Fax Forward (pretty sure that is the wording for the feature)
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Tried putting it in energy saver mode and wouldn't receive a fax. Is there something else to set in order to receive in energy
      saver mode?

U need to check 08-601... "0" = Auto shut off mode, "1" = Sleep mode...
U need to make sure is in Sleep mode, then only your 08-206 it taking effect...
If in Sleep mode, the panel will OFF and the Energy Saving button will light ON, u should have no problem to do any tasks, except u need to wait the machine to warm up...

Is the sending fax getting a NG? If not the fax may be stored in memory waiting for you to print it at power on. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

No I don't think so. If it was in memory is there somewhere else to find it other then going to job status, cause nothing shows in job status under the
            fax tab?
