Hi guys. I have an issue with this machine. The copy comes out very light and with a grey background. I checked the image on the drum and it seems pretty good but also i can see that background that i am talking about. I tried with 2 image units, i cleaned the optics, i changed the charger/transfer wires. Same thing. Any ideas?

sometimes the spring for the devoloper contact bent check dev bias first! also that platen spring at the developer unit backside get open sometimes and cause this.

Hi, sounds like a transfer/seperation HVT problem. Try replaicing transfer seperation corona unit, or just the blocks. If no help, replace the HVT unit.
