eStudio 352 hangs

Hello everyone,
Pls I have one estudio 352 that hangs with the picture of a copier. I have confirmed it is the HDD. I tried using a hdd from es3511, es282 the problem is
that the firmware is not detected on the flash drive in download mode. It just come up with empty list 0 - 6 and nothing selected or selectable. I tried the do
download mode with same hdds on es282 and it initialised and gave the list of firmware to be upgraded as expected. Somebody pls help. I have the
manuals and firmware.

Have you tried a new HDD?
Check the firmware version on the MFP
Then install appropriate firmware.

The last firmware is Ver.355
Mount a new HD and create first partition the put the firmware on the mfp with 4 9 on select all

Bought a new 80GB IDE HDD still no way. When I do 3 Clear keying in 3 and start according to manual to create partitions the copier returns initialize error.
When I do 4 9 download, every item on the list returns ok except system which gives error. Is there something I'm missing?

may you have a very old firmware on it try an intemediat fimware first. also clear nv flags with 3 start before partion hd. can you select or see os in 49 ? if not there was an update for this i think it calls preinstallation.

I actually tried the new hdd on the e282 and the system os returns error and all others ok. On the e352 you cannot see any firmware to select just an empty list. Just remembered also that the 352 was bought from europe by the customer. The firmware and consumables available to us in my location is asia.
The preinstallation stuff I haven't heard of that. How can I get that?

The Firmware from 352 and 282 are different make shure you use the right one

I know, I am just trying it out on the 282 in our workshop. I have the two firmware. On the 282, hdd sys update is failing. why? If you try to create partition it returns initialize error. The two m/cs are down now cos of hdd. Somebody pls help

Ok put the hd in 282 Format HD 08 6-- non remember exactly. mount in 352 start 3 create partion. pull the right firmware unzipt on usb formatated fat there have to bee 6 files only nothing else try update firmware 49 blabla
