    [Error Code] E4520C..CA00

For a couple weeks now I have a 4520c that codes with CA00..ONLY FIRST THING IN THE MORNING...Customer simply recycles power and everything is fine the rest of the day. Then, next morning they go to copier, it has CA00. I know this model pretty good and have fixed many CA00 errors before. This is pretty odd. I went through all image units carefully, cleaned all image & reg. sensors. All 08 modes ( 396, 4719 ) go fine.. Copies are fine..This copier runs great all day, but when it wakes up in the morning it codes the CA00. Just turn it off/on and it's good to go until tomorrow morning. I turned off 08/4546 today to see if it codes tomorow morning..Any input gentlemen??

    Re: E4520C..CA00

Only thing I can think of is to put a line monitor on it and see of voltage changes at time of error. Seems like power issue. We had a customer (different machine) that would get a CFS first thing in morning and it coincided with the coffee machine coming on!
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Hi there , 396 and 4719 is on 05 mode...did you perform wrongly? CA00 = image registration problem , one of your DV is running low or need to be replace

      good luck

Typo error .. I did 396 and 4719 in 05 mode, not 08.. I got a result value of 0, in 4720 which means no problems found .After further investigation, I discovered this copier is on a non dedicated outlet and is sharing an office shredder on the same line.. Also, there is .7 volts from neitral to ground..I turned off 08/4546 so it won't code in the morning, but still am trying to figure out why only once 1st thing in the morning when office opens.,when it comes out of sleep mode.. With a shreeder sharing the line and bad neutral to ground, I would think the copier would give trouble during the day.. Not so. Just coming out of sleep 2 8:00 AM
