    es452 LCT help with front to rear adj. please

    I have an e452 here in the shop that the LCT is off a few mm's on front to rear paper alignment, all the other trays are spot on.
    I don't see any manual adj. for it so I assume it is in the "05" modes.
    Looking through my handbook I don't really see the proper code to adj. front to rear for LCT, I see like 05-457 but that adj. LCT at registration.
    Am I just missing it in my handbook, or can someone tell me what 05 to use ???

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

      Look at the front cover where it attaches to the main tray. These are the adjustment for the front to rear alignment.
      And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

          yes, that was the first place I looked, there is no adj. there, the screws simple hold the cover on, there is no slot or stepped adj. there like many others, so off I go to Toshiba FYI to look around.

          I printed the LCF KD-1012 service manual and parts list out and went through it, there is no adj. listed there either for front to rear paper alignment other than switching from A4 to letter size.

          I studied the LCF some more in the shop, had another Tosh. tech look at it for a minute also, he said as well "no adj. on front cover, it's probably in the 05 codes somewhere" but could not tell me just where either...

          So I'm back still needing help, what do you guys think ?

              Not going to make this easy for you...look at the adjustments section...find the section pertaining to laser write start position..this should be divided into sections for each tray, bypass, and LCF. I would use the bypass tray as a referance..once it is dialed in correctly (from the glass) make all your adjustments to the other feed sources. Emujo

                  Thankyou, so much stuff in the manual, I was always looking in paper feeding and image adjustments area, did not think to look at laser writing.

                  It appears to be code 05-497/04 to adj. LCF, says when value is increased by "1" the image shifts toward the front side by 0.0423mm , default 128 <0-255>

                  I have the machine all torn down now in the shop to do full PM, when I get back to it and have it all back together I'm sure that adjustment will help me out.
