ES452 o65 bypass Jams only with ledger paper

I am having this 065 wrong paper size error only when trying to run ledger paper through the bypass. All other size papers run fine. The book says paper size error but ledger is selected and screen is showing ledger selected. Paper stops quarter way through the registration rollers. Ledger runs fine through the drawers. I checked the paper width sensors for the bypass tray in the 03 mode and all are working. I dont understand why this is happening. I would appreciate any advise any of you have regarding this. Check the firmware version. the firmware must be 340 or higher.
Start the copier 08 and change the parameter "Switching for incorrect paper size jam detection"
I do not remember whether it should be 1 or 0.
Make some tests. This procedure should be the solution
