    Brand new 4540c CA00 errors

We have a 4540c that was just installed last week ,there is 6k for b&w and less than 100 colour copies. Today they called for a CA00 error, there were a couple in the memory from yest as well. I was able to reboot the machine ,however when I tried to perform 05-4719,it will give the same error, and the transfer belt is completely covered in Cyan toner. I re-initialized the Cyan process unit, 05-2403 and it completed this no problem, but gave the CA00 again when I tried 05-4719. There were no errors recorded in 08-2530 for cyan. I tried another new process unit with the same results....The machine has Ver. 3000 F/W, I disabled the auto adjust in 08-2692, so the customer could use the machine.
Needless to say the customer is not happy . Have you had any issues like this on one of these yet? Any help is greatly appreciated. Anyone had any problems with the laser assy?

This series will give problem if less colour is used...because if not running colour, colour toner will not go in developer unit, thus developer material finish fast due to auto adjustment...

To solve this issue very simple, just change all 3 colour toners & performs auto toner adjustment...

U can perform below settings on low colour usage MFP, to prevent it happen again...

    08-2692 to "1"
    08-2693 to "10"

I dont think 5000 copies is enough to depleat the dev assy, we have had no problems related to quality on any of the other X series machines...I shut off the auto adjustment and they placed a call this am,saying its asking for cyan toner again, which I assume means its still covering the belt with cyan, just not going into error code, on my way back over now...

Tried the suggestion above, no change, Toshiba wanted me to try 08-4721, to excite the laser, no change, pulled out the laser assy, 2 of the mirrors were not seated properly,no change, reloaded the firmware ,no change...starting to see a pattern here lol! And Toshiba Canada's tech support is pretty much non existant....

I believe you have rec'd four emails from two people at Toshiba Canada so far today.

"I saw one problem like this and it was caused by the HVT so consider replacing it. Also check all the contacts going to the Transfer belt unit and Cyan EPU unit. "

Actually it was 3 emails, two of which were completely useless....Toshiba has been of no help at all in offering some parts to assist in troubleshooting. Luckily we have a 2540 that I can borrow the HVT from.....not that I should have to considering its not yet 2 weeks old.....

My side had plenty of EBx colour machines having similar image error due to low color usage...
The fastest way to solve the problem is to replace all 3 colors developers...

That is a pretty expensive fix replacing colour developers like that. If you are getting cyan all over the transfer belt and have tried another cyan unit and you had the same problem I would check the contacts as SalesServiceGuy mentioned before just replacing a HVT. If it is that and the machine is still under warranty you should be ok.

Have you tried the original cyan process units on another machine?
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.
