I am new to the Toshiba line so still learning.... I have two questions 1) is it possible to upgrade/add memory to the 556 machine or 2) is it possible to utilize the hard drive as RAM to allow for more or larger print jobs to be in queue?

Toshiba don't really have memory upgrades like other manufactures, as far as i know they don't really need them. what size print jobs are you printing?, normally the only issue with large print jobs is the time it takes to send the print job to the machine, not the actual machines capabilities... are you having any errors or problems?
Edit, if you want your print jobs to spool faster the es556 comes standard with 1gb ethernet, so make sure your router and PC network card are 1gb compatible.
