    Firmware for Toshiba E-Studio 232

    Can anyone provide me a replacement hard drive WITH the correct firmware pre-installed (or just the firmware files ) for a Toshiba E-Studio 232 - SN: CRB614122 - FW Version T377SY0U232 - M-ROM Version: 377M-02 - S-ROM Version 377S-03

I have replaced the hard drive, partitioned it, formatted it, but I have no access to the Toshiba firmware for same.

If someone could provide just the firmware, via a download or email, I'm sure that would solve my problem also. I do know how to install the firmware, I just don't have access to file(s). My Email is:

    tommytoshiba999@gmail.com

    Thanks, Tommy

I've got it but it isn't free.
If you don't know how to install it then you have no business doing it
. Call a qualified technician and save yourself a headache and possibly learn something for the next time.

Speaking of dickheads how about all these first and only time posters coming here asking for a freebie and then never hearing from them again. It's highly frowned upon here.
What I said to him was GOOD information. You wanna play, you gotta pay.

Do you also write to Pepsi, Ford motor co, Pizza Hut...etc and complain about their advertising??? He pays to run ads on this site, and has helped plenty of techs ( if that means they purchased a manual, it's still help). The poster wants someone to send him a pre-loaded HDD..From Toshiba it's gonna be over $500 for parts and labor..If he can do it himself, he needs to buy the manual, find a HDD, and obtain the firmware..maybe $100 tops. If you're so against pauls methods, reply to the poster that you will get him all that he needs for free. I'm sure once Paul sees that his services are not needed, there is no reason for him to post his "manuals" site. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

Put your pom poms down sally, leave the cheerleading to the H.S. girls.
I didnt read anywhere in his post he was looking for anything for free. Just that he was looking for help, I have the firmware if he needs it because im sure from the automatic attack on his skills as a technician mixed with the awesome "I have it but it aint free" sales pitch. he's not buying from him.

What is the problem? Is this not good advice?

BTW.............I have absolutely no interest in selling 'frimware' I have it for my customer's and friends who request it I am not a copier tech so I can't support it. However I am certified on HP, Lexmark and Xerox lasers and I'm a Registered Master Plumber in Pa. and Florida. You can ask me any plumbing question you want, but I do NOT make house calls.

Not only do I pay to advertise here which I've done since the site went live, but I donate monthly. I'm Jewish and I just love gold bars.

This shit has got to stop. Everyday there is a new flame ignited bagging someone out.

Maybe its about time moderators put to work the art of deleting offensive posts...

Gregg, if you have the firmware and you are willing to email it through, then just bloody well do it and be done with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah against Paul. We have all heard it before and it is getting a bit old.

                Emujo, spot on yet again.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Re: Firmware for Toshiba E-Studio 232

Gregg- You or anybody else want to send him the firmware, by my guest. Here's whats going to happen...........You'll send it to this guy, he may or may not thank you, and then some other newbie will drop in and ask for it again, and then another and another, just like in the Canon group and the SST and firmware. The guy who sent it will be inundated with requests and he'll then be REAL sorry he did it.

Furthermore, the more you guys send this stuff out for free, the sooner your trade will go the way of the dodo. As far as me selling manuals to end users, I am actually helping your trade. I've been dealing with these manuals for just about 10 years now and I still don't know the first thing about copiers even though I used to be field tech for HP, Unisys and another job for the North Shore Health System in NY working on printers and computers. Having a manual does not make a technician. An end user with a manual is a dangerous thing. Even if he does fix it, he's more than likely to f_ck up something else. Then for sure he'll need to call a tech and then the tech will know he tried to fix it himself and charge him more.

One other thing, As far as the 2 Zaza's crying about how in Algeria they can't use Paypal. That's a lie, Paypal is my payment processor and it IS accepted in Algeria and 189 other countries.

Again, If you read his post, he said he knew how to load firmware just didnt have access to it, and not once did he ask for it for free.
I get it, you pay to spam the board so the moderators allow you to run wild and attack everyone on the board. Good thing your a plumber or whatever it is you said you were besides NOT a technician.
