toshiba e-181 adding toner symbole

Dear friends,

e-181 shows adding toner symbole even after replacing the genuine toners, the problum presist after reset the machine switch ON with 13* kets. When again i use 13* the add toner symbole not displayed. but after powering OFF and ON the machine again the add toner symbole comes. how to rectify the problum.

use simulation 0+8 then 65 and change the value to the code for middle which is either 65 or 852. Goodluck

Input 0-8 and 971 active the value for 3, the toner symbol will disabled

i have the same problem a few days ago..

first, open front door, get toner cartridge out and then check toner chip reader. use flashlight to see springs of reader.
if everything is ok, when cartridge is at outside, turn off machine, apply 05 - 200 and then 05 - 201 (developer initialize). read first 05 mode on servicehandbook to set values to their initial values! after this steps turn on machine and get toner cartridge in..

check toner codes T-1810E or T-1810D (E for europe machine which has serial number MJD...) (D for asiasuudiarabia machine which has serial number ASU...)

check pods of toner cartridge.. T-1810E have two pods.. T-1810D have three pods.. (pods give activation to toner cartridge's inside mechanism)

maybe u have Europe machine and Asia toner! or asia machine and europe toner! for example i use T-1640 toner for e-studio181/182/211/212.. only change two of part on cartridge.. first replace chip second replace pods and use toner easy))
