Hello
Hope any body can help
I have this toshiba e-studio 350 and I have printer image quality trouble with it
the page background is dirty it have grey strips on in when I use it as copier everything is fine
the page is clean no dirty strips or anything
can it be fixed

Is this problem with the print or copy/print. Have you looked at the drum,dev and charger units?

this happens when it prints from pc.
I dont think there is something wrong with drum,dev,etc
because when is making photocopies everything is fine.
I thing it may need some adj. with code I tried some but no result

If the photocopies are fine but the prints are not, could it be the print job itself. Have you tried it on a different machine. What type of document are you printing word, pdf etc.

Yes I have tried on another machine the document is fine

only when prints from pc this happens. when I make copies is fine no smudged background
this happens in printing I have tried to fix it by AJ code but no success
is there any particular AJ code for printing function

Have you reset the network card 08-693 and i would failing that format the hdd 08 690

Is it only this one print job causing a problem are do all print jobs have the problem. Is it a specific file type such as ms word or pdf. If it is just one print job causing the problem I would not adjust the print quality settings as you will knock the machine out for all other prints.

Do you have an example of the problem ?

the problem is with all print files even with test page from printer properties I tried to change printer driver
so this happens with all file formats
I tried to fix it by AJ codes related to printer image quality on SM book I used 0-5 672 4 and try to increase and decrees the print density but the image come the same is not lighter or darker.

If the image quality is poor even when printing from the machines memory (print properties page) then I am unsure as I would assume that if the image is poor from there then the copies from the machine would have the same problem. There are many things I would check on these machines for cq problems. What have you checked/cleaned/changed so far.
Adjusting codes is usually a last resort for me. The machine changes its voltages to compensate for wear on parts inside the machine.

the image is not poor
the print was not from machine memory but from PC test page, printer properties so this excludes the file format from PC any way I tried PDF,Word,Excel.
it have background black strips on it, it is like the drum cleaning blade dirty, this does not happen in copy
process, in copy process is perfect, I have changed drum unit, developer unit, corona unit, took them from another working copier that prints very good, still the same then I thought maybe it needs AJ code to fix it
and try them to no success.
