    Folding issue please help

    Hello

I have a Toshiba es3510c that I am trying to get a folding job set up for a customer. If I can not figure this out they will not buy the machine.

I have a pdf with 8 pages. If I send it for a single print it folds and binds fine. If I send more than one it sends them out to the second tray. I press print and select the number of copies in the dialog box and if I send 5 sets of 8 sheets it shows up in the job status screen as 40 sheets.

    Please help.

What program are you printing from? I had to get Toshiba to write new driver patches for a certain customer specific program once. It seemed like a simple enough duplex booklet job but always got undefined post script errors when using PS3.

      I have posted this before...

Do not select the number of copies from the printer dialog (especially Microshaft products). Select it from the printer properties and also on the printer dialog deselect the collate box. For some reason I have had several locations have the same issue and all were using different applications. When they started doing this the jobs were back like you expect. One location was a church printing the Sunday bulletin. It took 4 hours to spool to printer and 10 hours to print (8 page folded booklet and 300 copies on letter size paper). After doing what I outlined above it took less then 5 minutes to spool and 2 hours to print.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
