    [Electrical] toshiba e207

    hi can anyone help the toshiba e207 just switches off and comes on again by itself.anyone encountered this problem before please advise.

      Have you checked the power saving schedule from the web interface?

      I think these machines can be set like their bigger counter parts to turn off at a set time and back on again at another time.
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

        it seems to turn off and on only when im trying to make a copy,i can have the machine on for a while and nothing happens.

            Sounds like it could be a power supply issue, but if you are getting desperate, then I would suggest that you get a trained tech in to look at the issue.
            Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

              thanks for the reply,i already had a technician have a look at it.he changed the mainboard about a month ago,now when i call him in the check it he says its the toner.he`s talking a lot of crap cause i think he doesnt want to cover under his warranty.i have a bit aof technical experience with radios and computers so im trying to apply that here.i`ll check the power supply,but i need a service manual.

                I've 1 case with similar problem...
                So far found that is charging issue resulting the machine restart when copying...
                For temporary solution, try removed the process unit, u will see a spring in the machine which touching the developer tank.
                Remove the spring and put back the process unit, the machine should be working, but the printout not so solid back compare to previous...
