Toshiba ES 237 cotrol panel buttons don't work

This is kinda odd, the the only control panel button that works
is the "Energy Saver" button.
You can put it to sleep but you can't wake it up.
Also I can get into 08 & 05 modes, but I can't enter
any program numbers.
Has anyone seen this before?

Clean the control pannel, and install new version firmware for the machine
