    E-Studio 230L and network card.

Some time ago a had problem with E230L and network card.
After power on this machine network card doesnt initializing properly.
Info about initializing was all the time on the touch panel.
    I can't ping ,web anything.
    I try reset (08-693) - nothing happened.
I try reload firmware - failed to load on network card.
I try change the "factory settings" switch on the card - lights (green ,orange) start blinking after ~ 1 min. so it should be reset after this - nothing change.

I the second floor my client have E280 with exacly the same net card.
I swap both net cards and now both of them are working properly.
    ?????
Can anyone explain me this ?

I suppose that U have coincidence of circumstances. In e-Bridge 1 most such a problems comes from HDD/HDD cables. U can see in SH that half of problems of firmware upgrade failure are comming from HDD (even it shows NIC firmware failure).
So it is better idea to format HDD 08-690-2 (3min), test HDD 08-694 (20-30min), check 08-670. I'm expecting that soon U will have to change HDD.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

Check the hard drive and if it is a maxtor throw it as far as possible then shoot it. Then put a western digital hard drive and reload the firmware.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Yes, today after another 2 weeks of proper work it's hang up.
We have to buy a new one
            It's weird anyway.
