Which manufactor do you think make the most dependable / compatibale USB flashdrive for downloading firmware. I usually use sandisk, but have bought a couple duds recently that the copier wont even recognize or complete download..Anythin other sandisk ?

Most of the major brands work fine, I've only had 1 verbatum and 1 poloroid fail and I would stay away from the switchblade type as they tend to open in your pocket. For fimware I use 4gb's or 8gb's nothing smaller.Mystic Crystal Revelations -

With the older ebridge, USB size was a concern..1 worked well with 1gb, 2 worked well with 2gb..I have used 4gb on the 3510 series with no issues...The other thing is to get rid of any hidden files on the new drives..Scan disk has "U3" and must be removed by going to the website..The drive will show a little bit of used area even after formatting. Follow the sm for types of format (FAT, FAT32 NTFS).
