    [Jamming] MJ-1027 "EA20"

When performing 1>2 Duplex with SORT for multiple copies and sets, EA20 occurs frequently... Found 2 pcs of paper stacked together... Temporary disconnected the finisher, use rotate sort and e600 is working fine... Previous finisher also having similar jamming problem, after replaced another unit, the problem coming back again... Perhaps need to change the parts on the finisher especially the feed belt and paddle rubber?

Finding 2 pages in the buffer roller is normal, buffer roller holds 2 sheets to give the stapler time to finish the last set before sending in the next set, check the finisher height and make sure it's not jamming with the next page coming into the finisher, does this machine have a hole punch, major problems with EA20 and pinched wires on the hole punch due to wire ties being too tight.

Common problem is the paper is ti far to the front, check the buffer unit frambe (black bit) where the solenoid is located. Will probably have some marks where the paper has brushed against it.

Just under the '2' handle there is a solenoid, checj the frame under there.
It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.

For sorting the papers stacked in the finishing stage for exiting, are the jamming for A4 only or also A4-R. if A4 only there is no synchronize between the sorting motor and the solenoid, decrease the distance of the solenoid to return back

This morning swapped another unit of MJ-1011 finisher....but still having intermitten "EA20" problem...
This time is due to the front jogging plate issue resulting paper crumple at finisher exit thus jamming occur...
Temporary taped the front jogging plate and manage to run without problem...
Hopefully it can last for some times...
